COVID-19

Prevention Measures for the COVID-19 Virus

Here at Complete Pipeline Services, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 Virus situation through the Center for Disease Control (CDC) along with state and local health organizations. The safety of our employees, clients and suppliers is the utmost importance to us here; therefore, this is reason for implementing the following preventative measures.

  • Prevention Steps:

  1. We believe the first step to prevent the spread is to avoid being exposed to someone who is infected.
  2. Any employee who is sick is strongly encouraged to stay home and self-quarantine for 14 days per the CDC recommendation.
  3. It is recommended that all employees wash their hands often using proper hand washing techniques.

  •  In addition to washing hands, avoid touching the mouth, eyes and nose with hands.

4. It is recommended that any employee that has a compromised immune system to stay home.

5. It is recommended to avoid close contact with people in general, whether sick or not.

6. If an employee had a family member sick at home, they need to inform management as soon as possible.

 7. Prior to the start of work each day, individual employees must declare if they are sick or have come in contact with a person who has    tested positive to COVID-19.

8. Based on a risk assessment, the employee may be required to remain away from the office and jobsite until they have been

declared by an appropriate medical authority that they can safely return to the office or jobsite.

9. If an employee is removed from the jobsite, Complete Pipeline Services will notify the client immediately and advise them of

any medical results to the extent allowed by the applicable regulations.

10. If any employee deems it necessary to stay home and not come to work for the above recommendations, they will not be subject

to any disciplinary action.

11. Encouraging all communication with clients and suppliers to be by video or telephone to help reduce the risk of spreading the

COVID-19 Virus.

12. Complete Pipeline Services has a licensed Registered Nurse that is available at all times. She is continuing to assist us in

monitoring the situation and our employees. We could have this nurse available to jobsites.

13. It is company policy to have a minimum of two employees per crew to be certified in first aid and CPR.

  • Cleaning and Disinfecting:

  1. The following is required at the end of each shift:

  • Inside of truck will be wiped down with an approved disinfecting solution.
  • Inside the cab all equipment will be wiped down with an approved disinfecting solution.
  • All hand tools will be wiped down with an approved disinfecting solution prior to being put away.

Here at Complete Pipeline Services, we are closely monitoring the solution through the Centers of Disease Control along with local and state health organizations. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our Safety Manager, Bill Steffen at 740-922-1086.
